UNDERWATER WEDDING
Local authorities in Trang have arranged the 2013 Annual Underwater Wedding Fair in Sikao district, to run from February 13 to 15. Participating couples will be encouraged to wear Thai classic costumes and weeding dresses made of Thai cloth as theytie the knot underwater.
Apart from annual underwater weddings, a special sticky rice ceremony will also be introduced this year. Trang locals believe that couples in love will stick together like the glutinous grains of sticky rice.

WALK IN THE PARK
Ratchaphruek National Park in Muang district of Chiang Mai is looking forward to welcoming couples this Valentine’s Day. The park will arrange a special booth to issue certificates of marriage at the Hor Kam Luang hall inside the park.
The Angel Beauty Contest will also be arranged, and participants dressed as angels or cupids will get free entrance.

Nadi District Office, Prachin Buri Tourism Association and Tourism Authority of Thailand will present the Memoirs of Love Above Cliffs: Adventurous Wedding at Weruwan Waterfall and Baan Pha Ngam Resort this Valentine’s Day.
Participating brides and grooms will sign certificates of marriage while hanging from the side of a cliff. Locals believe that the love of the couples will remain as secure and stable as the cliff face.
